Job Description: Our Charleston Terminal location is seeking all levels of Diesel Mechanic to perform truck and trailer repair. He/she will inspect equipment, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions, align front wheels, repair and overhaul brake systems, tune engines by setting valve tappets, replace fuel pumps, troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems, troubleshoot engines and transmissions, rebuild engines and differentials, make body repairs, and test drive equipment.
Shift: Permanent days

Position: Tractor Assembler
Job Description: Our Ridgeland Plant is seeking a Tractor Assembler to perform line assembly operations following blueprints and written and verbal specification to produce yard tractors. The Tractor Assembler determines assembly specifications and measurements; assembles parts, drills, taps or reams holes; bolts, clips, screws, cements or otherwise fastens parts together; squares, aligns, and assembles tractor cab on floor; cuts, strips, bends and forms wire cable, conduit, pipe and tubing to connect circuits and subassemblies; bends and installs pipe for hydraulic systems; installs, tests and adjusts electrical assemblies; installs bearing, shafts and lever and tests them for free movement; aligns and mashes gears in gearbox to assemble system of gears; tends arbor presses, riveting machine and other equipment to force fit or fasten on assembly line; tests end product and performs other duties as assigned.
Shift: Days - Monday through Thursday - 10 hrs/day

Job Description: Our Jacksonville Terminal is seeking a licensed driver to drive tractor trailer rig with over 3 tons capacity to transport materials, including yard tractors to and from company locations. The driver will maintain required state and federal logs, load and unload equipment, inspect vehicle(s,) maintain tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil and water, and perform emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains and spark plugs.

Position: Maintenance Manager
Job Description: TICO/Terminal Services is an equipment logistics solutions company that has been in business since 1972. While based out of Savannah, TICO/Terminal Services has locations throughout the coastal and interior U.S. to include our LaPorte location.We are looking for a "hands-on" Fleet Services Maintenance Manager with diesel engine, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic experience to provide leadership and management for our LaPorte location. As the leader of our operation, you will be required to wear many different hats to be successful in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Directs a staff of mechanics in performing quality service and repair work on terminal and road tractors.
Manages location, to include" Productivity, PMs, Downtime, Tires and Fuel
Performs service work as required to support the operation
Manages and develops existing and new customer accounts
Ensures highest levels of customer service and delivered to an extremely demanding customer base in the logistics industry
Ensures availability of repair parts, tools, and shop equipment
Coordinates services to ensure repairs are conducted in accordance to customers' schedules and TICO's approved standards
Implements processes to eliminate operational downtime and increase cost effectiveness
Verifies repair work is completed in accordance with company quality standards
Diagnoses and performs accurately all phases of terminal tractor and road tractor repair for internal and external accounts, and, importantly, transfers knowledge to staff members through training and development
